My Experience with Lotus Herbals Kera-Veda Soyashine Shampoo:
This shampoo comes in a same boring packaging as the conditioner from this range, the difference is that the conditioner comes in a tube whereas the shampoo comes in a bottle (same orange bottle with a green flip top cap). The main drawback of the packaging is the flip top lid which is so tough that you may end chipping your nails or getting yourself hurt, happened to me many times and this is what I hate most about its packaging and moreover the packaging is so boring and old-fashioned.
It has a soapy fragrance and is not at all pleasant like the conditioner, it may irritate sensitive noses. The consistency of this shampoo is flowy and it lathers well.
This is just a regular shampoo with no drastic effects as such, just cleans out the scalp well and that’s all, it doesn’t do anything else besides this and also adds a bit of softness like any other shampoo. It does not even remove oil properly, not even with 2 good lather, this is what turns me off from most shampoos, oil removing criteria is the main factor I expect from shampoos as I’m an oil freak and always oils my hair before shampooing and if a shampoo can’t remove the oil even with 2 good lather then it’s not worth anything. It may remove oil in 3 lather but I don’t like using a shampoo this many times in just one wash as I’m afraid I would do more damage to my precious hair, lathering shampoo this many times damages hair in the long run so it’s always better you wash your hair in one or two lather. Overall, this is not a good shampoo or a shampoo worth giving a try, some may like it but I didn’t and I always share my honest experience with the product, don’t want to influence anyone with my reviews. If you want to try it out, you can surely go ahead but I’d suggest you to always try a small pack or trial pack of any product to protect yourself from wasting your money on a product that won’t suit you or won’t do any good to you.
