My Experience with Facia Saffron Sandal Gel:

I bought this gel thinking that it will do something for my acne marks that are just in the fading mode. It took a really long time for me to completely deal with acne, maybe two years or more and I was really depressed during this time period of my life. I didn’t like to face the mirror nor did I like to use my “sunscreen” of which I am a fan. I stopped using everything after I got fed up with my face thinking that maybe the products are causing me a reaction but that was not all, I completely changed my lifestyle, visited dermatologist (but of no use), changed my eating habits which are still there with me, I only eat healthy food but the magical thing that got me rid of my stubborn acne was not cetaphil or benzoyl peroxide or some other medication, it was some Ayurvedic medication that took two weeks to completely cure my acne and never dared to come back. If you want to know more on this, I can do a separate post for what all that Ayurvedic doctor gave me and how I am now all acne free. Although my acne was cured I still had some acne marks which were not that stubborn but I didn’t like them on my face so went ahead with all the home-made treatments and products that could get me rid of those marks. I used a tons of things but today’s review is about this gel which really did wonders for my skin in just one week. After I started using this, my mummy also started saying me that you used to be so depressed about your marks and look, now they have all gone. I said, “mummy apko kya pata hai acne aur marks ka dukh, maine raat ko ye gel use kiya or subah tak magic happened”. Mummy said “nazar mat laga” and touched wood :P Mummy are like this only. I got rashes on my face because of a cream which I am not sure was the culprit or not but if I get to know that it was it, I’ll share with you girls too. And I started using this gel at night because my face was not in a condition to bear cream on it and magic happened the next day ;) my rashes calmed down and it was on my face for 5-6 days, I was so happy with it and continued using it and more magic happened ;), guess what, my acne marks lightened to a great extent.. Yeyeyeye, I am just circling my hands like crazy like Miley and Lilly used to do in Hannah Montana if anyone used to watch that serial, you may know. Let me sum up the pros and cons for you to understand better..

Facia Saffron Sandal Gel

Pros: :)

  • Lightens acne marks really well.
  • Moisturizes skin and dries immediately.
  • Does not make skin look or feel oily.
  • Calms rashes in just one day as far as I have experienced.
  • Totally inexpensive.
  • Easily available.
  • Awesome fragrance.
  • Contains good ingredients.
  • Brightens the skin.
  • Gives a glow in the morning when I use it at night.
  • It says on the cover- fairness, freedom, firmness, freshness and feeling of softer skin which is so true, I experienced all these.

Cons: :(

  • Not any. Some of you may not like the tub packaging but I am really ok with it as I always use a hand sanitizer before doing my skin care so tub packaging has never been an issue for me, in fact it satisfies me that I can use every bit of the product to the fullest, what say girls. :P

Rating: 5/5

Final Verdict:

Sorry for this big experience part but if you really are facing stubborn acne issues then this part is a must read, you should read it once. About this gel, what can I say more, it’s magic in a mini tub. ;)
