My experience with Olay 3 in 1 Fairness Cream:
As soon as I saw the ad of this newly launched cream, I decided to give it a try and when I experienced how it works for me, I thought to share with you all my review :). I am using this cream twice a day and it didn’t do any justice to my already fair skin. It leaves behind a white cast and one has rub it vigorously to make it absorb into skin. I don’t like such kind of creams that stays on top of the skin without giving it any benefits that it is supposed to give. This is the first fairness cream I ever tried from Olay and I am not happy with the results. I’d suggest this for oily skinned girls and dry skinned girls to stay away from it as it’ll leave a white cast on skin and will make your skin more dry. When I used it on slightly damp skin, it gets absorbed without leaving a white cast but I can’t comment on its 3 in 1 fairness claims.
Fragrance: Floral smell, its smell resembles a lot like Fair & Lovely so you probably can guess its smell.
Consistency: Its consistency is a little thick and takes a whole lot time in getting absorbed. When used on slightly damp skin, it easily gets absorbed giving you a fairer look for the time being.
- Dirt cheap.
- Has some natural ingredients.
- Gave me a glow in the morning when I used it at night.
- Nice fragrance.
- Leaves a white cast on skin.
- Didn’t fulfilled any of its claims.
- It comes with UV protection though not mentioned SPF. Until the product mentions the SPF, I can’t believe on its UV protection.
- It resembles a lot like fair and lovely (in texture, smell, white cast) which is the biggest con for me, I simply can’t stand fair and lovely.
When I use it on dry skin (no toner or water left on my skin), it made me look like a clown i.e it didn’t get absorbed properly leaving behind white residues on my skin. But when I used it on slightly damp skin, it easily got absorb and made me look much fairer and when I use it at night, I could see a glow on my face in the morning though it vanishes as soon as I wash my face.
Will I Repurchase: No!! I’m done with it.
Do I Recommend it: You can give it a try to see how it works for you and dry skinned girls (please stay from it).
