It’s been really long since I did any review on Avon product. So here I am with a review of cream cleanser from Avon Refined White range. Avon Refined White range has cream cleanser, toner, day cream SPF 20, UV block SPF 30 and whitening night cream. I have cleanser and day cream from this range and today I’ll be reviewing the foaming cream cleanser. Move onto the review to know whether its claims for whitening the skin are true or not.
Price: 329 for 100 g. No discount on this :-((

Specially formulated for Asian skin, this foaming cream cleanser removes dirt and oil, without over-drying skin and effectively removes make-up. Contains Silk Fiber Peptide, the cleanser is formulated to brighten skin. Skin looks visibly clearer after just one use, giving you refreshed and smoother skin, and revealing a healthy radiant complexion. Dermatologist tested. Non-comedogenic. Allergy-tested.
How To Use:
In the morning or evening, gently massage onto moistened skin. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. For best results, follow with your regular toner and moisturizer.
My Experience with Avon Refined White Foaming Cream Cleanser:
This cleanser comes in a tube packaging with a flip top cap. The color of the tube is pink and white, they wanted to show that you’ll become of this color after using this like pink beauty :beauty: The consistency of the cleanser is quite runny and it foams up pretty well with a little amount of water. As it is a cream cleanser, it does not froth much so this may be a plus point for dry skin as I have dry skin and I don’t like frothy face washes that rips the skin of moisture. The fragrance of this cleanser is great, don’t know what to compare it with but it’ll not bother anyone. As soon as I review a face wash, I stop using it and get onto another one for the purpose of review. So after reviewing Avon hydra radiance cleanser and Olay total effects, I started using this cleanser from Avon and frankly I didn’t like it better than my Avon Hydra Radiance cleanser, that cleanser besides moisturizing my skin even gave me a brightening effect. But this one didn’t do anything special that I will think of buying it again. It lathers pretty well and only a small quantity is required, it dries out my skin a bit but nothing much that a moisturizer can’t take care of. It gives a glow to face but the glow or brightening effect is not permanent and vanishes within few hours so all false claims to visibly lighter skin tone.
- Pleasant fragrance.
- Rinse off easily.
- Only a small quantity is needed to form a lather.
- Gives a glow with every wash.
- It’s non-comedogenic and allergy-tested.
- Removes makeup and dirt effectively.
- Skin feels clean and fresh after washing with it.
- Dries out the skin, but nothing much that a moisturizer can’t take care of.
- I hate one thing of Avon, the main ingredient with which it sells its products is found last in the ingredient list. Is this fair!! How can we get benefits of an ingredient if its composition is so less in the product. :-X
- Does not brighten or lighten the skin.
- Not easily available.
- Expensive if it’s not on discount. For me, it was not.
I think this may work great for oily skin and combination skin as it is a bit drying. Dry skin girls can also give it a try but you have to moisturize afterwards. It didn’t do anything great so I won’t be buying it again. I liked Avon Hydra Radiance better than this.
